2024 USATF-NE Winter Indoor Series - Open / Masters Sunday afternoon, January 7, 2024 Haas Athletic Center, Wheaton College, Norton MA A early season low-key meet wtih a limited event schedule All abilities welcome. . ELIGIBILITY - Age 15+ on meet day - Current 2024 USATF members and eligible collegians. 2024 USATF Membership and renewal isnow available NOTE: You will not be allowed to enter without a 2024 membership COMPETITION - Events will be seeded and contested based on submitted performances. - If numbers warrant, heats in running events will be set up in masters age divisions in 10 or 5 year groups beginning at age 30. - If 9 or more are entered and check in for an age division in the 60 meters, there will be trials and finals. If 8 or fewer are entered or check in, the race will be a final only. - Field events may have separate open and masters flights - Field events may also combine men and women if numbers are small - Four attempts for all competitors in the long jump, triple jump, shot put - Track does not have a curb in place and thus is not eligible for masters record performances NOTE: There are two Youth meets at Wheaton for age 6 through high school on Sundays, January 14 and 21. Separate info page and entry process.. ENTRY INFORMATION Entry fee is $25 for first event, $10 for each additional event. Pre-entry only. EVENT SCHEDULE 3:00 p.m. - Doors open - Please do not arrive before 3:00 p.m. 3:45 p.m. Field Events Shot put High Jump to follow Shot Put Long Jump Triple Jump to follow 4:00 p.m. Track Events 60m hurdles - Open men 42"/ 39" M30-39, then M Masters, then Open women 33" or W40+ 30" women only. NO 27" Hurdles Masters must help set up their hurdles 60m 1 Mile 60m finals if necessary 400m 1 Mile Race Walk 800m 200m 2 Mile Run - Men/Women combined 4x200m W, M, 2+2 Co-ed club (Enter on meet day) COVID protocols At this time, there are no special COVID protocols on the Wheaton campus. This may change at short notice if college, town, or state restrictions are implemented. Any mandated polices will be strictly enforced. COMPETITOR PARKING AVAILABLE IN LOT 3, 4, and 8 only. Cars may be towed from othe lots.
