USATF-NE Youth Indoor Track & Field Championships Sunday, March 3, 2024 Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center, Boston (Roxbury) MA RESULTS In an effort to provide a better experience for the competitors and families, we are running this meet in 2 sessions. Both sessions are subject to early closure of entries if maximums are reached. Age groups - Events will be contested in USATF age groups based on year of birth See Age Groups by Birth Year Chart Below Session 1 - 10:00 a.m. - Age 10 & under - Limited Events Session 2 - 1:00 p.m. (updated)- Age 11 & Older ) Session 2 will use a declaration process. Calls for declaration will be made 75 minutes before projected start time. Please see updated details in the pre-meet e-mail. Meet Day process 9:00 a.m. check-In begins Packet Pick-Up Clerking for Mile 9:30 Spike Check - Only 1/4" pyramid spikes are allowed on the track. Spikes will be checked when checking in. Spike Guidance Schedule of events - Session 1 - Ages 10 & Under Track - Girls then Boys, Yound to Old, Fastest First 10:00 a.m. Mile - 10:00 Start 60m 800m 200m 400m Field events - check in at event area, Young to Old Girls then Boys Shot Put - 10:00 a.m. - Long Jump - 10:00 a.m. High Jump - After 60m closes Boys and Girls Together OPENING HEIGHT 0.90m
Session 2 - Ages 11 & upc Track Events in SESSION 2 Requires BOTH Declaration and then Hip # Clerking. If an athlete is not declared on-site, they will be scratched from the event
Schedule of events - Session 2 - Ages 11 & up Track events 1:00 p.m. UPDATED, rolling schedule could be up to 15 minutes early 60m Hurdles - Finals on time 60m Dash -Finals on time 2 Mile - After 60m is done 800m 400m 1 Mile 200m Field Events - Start Time 1:00 p.m. updated Young to Old, Girls then Boys Long Jump - Triple Jump (to follow long jump) High Jump (Follow hurdles / dash) Flights 11-12 Boys and Girls Together Open 0.9m 13-14 Girls Open 1.0m 13-HS Boys Open 1.1m HS Girls Open 1.2m Shot Put - 1 circle Weight Throw (to follow shot put) Age 15-18 only Must have a current season mark. Not a beginner's event AWARDS Individual - Medals - Top 3 in each event in each age division Team - Trophies - Top 3 teams, combined boys and girls score NOTES: Coaching Boxes will be defined for field events.
