Pole vaulter Lauren Kuntz cleared 13'3.5" this season (Patrick Barragan photo)With the USATAF New England Indoor Championships complete, winners in the 2014 USATF-NE Indoor Track and Field Grand Prix are now finalized. This year's series included both a track and a field winner for men and women.

Winners for track events are both middle-distance runners: Jillian Kingof New Balance Boston (4:37.78 mile) and David Goodman of New England Distance. Each had their best scores in mile races, 4:37.78 (King) and 4:09.91 (Goodman). Topping the field events are a pair of pole vaulters; Lauren Kuntz of MIT Pole Vault Club and Brad Lawrence from Patriot Pole Vault; they cleared 4.05m/13'3.5" and 4.70m/15'5", respectively.

Scoring is performance based, with points earned from the IAAF scoring tables based on results marks. The best four marks from New England meets which have open entry and are sanctioned / eligible for USA National qualifying are totaled up for the rankings. One of those meets must be the USATF NE Championship or the USA Nationals.
