Abbey D'Agostino to attend 6th annual USATF-NE Banquet

You may remember Abbey D'Agostino from her time at Dartmouth University, where she was the fifth woman in NCAA history to win back- to-back titles in the 5,000 meters. Or, maybe you remember her from winning both the NCAA indoor and outdoor 5,000 meters in the same academic year. There is no doubt you heard about her in the 2016 Rio Olympics when she collided with New Zealand Olympian Nikki Hamblin. D'Agostino helped her competitor up off the track, and went on to finish the race with a torn miniscus and ACL.

Bringing stories straight from the 2016 Rio Olympics, the Topsfield, Mass., native will be the guest speaker at the 6th Annual USATF-NE Banquet. The night promises to be action-packed with Runner of the Year, Race of the Year, Race Director of the Year, and Club of the Year awards all being announced. In addition to good food and drink with fellow athletes, D'Agostino's addition to the line-up will be sure to be a crowd pleaser.
