Webinar on Competing Through the Masters Years

Dr.Cathy Utzschneider presents on the impact of sports for masters athletes on January 20

The next USATF-New England "2+22 webinar", "Maneuvering Through the Masters Years", is coming up on Wednesday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be hosted by Dr. Cathy Utzschneider, author, masters competitor, and professor of high performance at Boston College.

Held in an interactive discussion format, the program will center around athletes profiled in her latest book and what motivates those individuals. In the book, "High Performance in Midlife and Beyond: Champion Masters Women Runners and Other Experts", Dr.Utzschneider interviews champion athletes ages 40 through 80s whose unique stories inspire and instruct.  (USATF-NE interviewed her about the book earlier in December: newengland.usatf.org/news/2020/new-book-on-women-s-masters-running)

A member of Liberty Athletic Club, Dr.Utzschneider is the lead faculty of Boston College's Coaching Today's Athlete Center, and founder of The MOVE Edge, a goal-setting methodology used in her coaching practice for runners, swimmers, and others with physical goals who aspire to be their best at any age.
