Perform:24 - Injury Prevention and Return - Bones, Tendons, and Joints

On June 7 at 7:00 p.m., USATF-New England continues the Perform:24 webinar series with Injury Prevention & Return: Bones, Tendons, Joints, & Young Athletes. Presenter Dr.Adam Tenforde of Mass. Geneeral Hospital and Harvard Business School was an All-American distance runner and part of championship teams at Stanford University.  A former professional runner, he competed at the US Olympic Track & Field Trials and has an understanding of the urgency to return athletes to sports successfully.

As the high school and college seasons comes to a close with the most intense training and racing of the year, a look at bone/tendon/joint injuries is a timely topic.  Injuries treatment, recovery, and return to competition will be covered.  Though the focus is on youth, the presentation is will cover the injuries and recovery for all age groups, and will be of interest for both coaches and athletes.

There is no fee, but pre-registration is required.
