USATF-NE Masters/Open Championships run in Providence

Rescheduled from a snowed out January date, the USATF-NE Masters and Open Championships drew 300 entries for the Sunday, January 30 contest held at the Providence Career and Technical Academy Track facility on Sunday.

Participation in the field / technical events was smaller then usual primarily due to inaccessibility of practice facilities and lack of open meets available to post-collegiate competitors throughout New England during the winter.
