Indoor Track & Field Championships return to Harvard

The USATF-NE Indoor Track & Field Championships returned to its long standing home facility at Harvard on Sunday with over 500 competitors taking part in a full schedule of events on the track and in the field, with spirited relays ending the meet. 

Two New England high school season bests were among the results; Christian Toro (Lincoln RI) threw the 35lb weight 52'2.5" for second overall (a day after he won the Rhode Island state meet in the 25lb weight), and Peter Lichtenberg (Buckingham, Browne, & Nichols, Cambrdge MA) cleared 15'7" in the pole vault for the overall win.

Thanks to the officials who made the meet roll through the time schedule.
