New England Scoreboard - USATF Open and U20 Championship

Ellie Shea (Emerging Elite/Belmont MA) won both the 1500 and 3000 meter races at the USA U20 (not turning 20 during the year) Championships in Eugene Oregon. New England rival Sophia Gorrarian (Rhode Island TC/Providence) won the 800 meters and was runner-up to Shea in the 1500.   Top male performer was Boston College freshman Damon Frabotta, the silver medalist in the 400 hurdles in a BC school record. 
They and several others will be part of Team USA at the Pan American U20 Championship in August in Puerto Rico.   Those individuals will be noted in the scoreboard as the US roster is finailzed.

Open athletes availed themselves well with Tracksmith Boston-sponsored Curtis Thompson winning the javellin.
