USATF-NE Masters Champs - 4 pending US age records

Four pending USA Masters age division records stood out among spirited competition in the USATF New England Masters Indoor Championships in Providence at the PCTA Track Facility on Sunday, January 29.  

The New England 65+ RC quartet of Jerry LaVasseur, Bill Spencer, Henry Wolstat, and Tony Daponte broke the M85-89 club bests in both the 4 x 200m and 4 x 400m relays in 5:40.02 and 13:20.35, respectively, while Liberty Athletic Club (Lauren Leslie, Viki Bok, Alda Cossi, Mary Cass) ran down a new W60-64 mark for the 4 x 800m relay in 12:28.37 (after earning the outdoor standard last summer).
One individual US Masters mark was established.  Joe Carlozzi (Twilight Throwers) threw a new US best in the M85-89 25 lb Super Weight, 6.73m (breaking the existing mark set in the 2010 USATF-NE meet).
