New England Masters Earn National Honors

Five New England Masters (age 40+) road races earned 2024 Runner of the Year honors in their age group, announced at the recent USATF Annual Meeting.

Nat Larson (Greater Springfield Harriers/Amherst MA) was recognized with a "Triple Crown" - Runner of the Year in 60-64 Division, overall Masters Runner fo the Year, and one of two road runners inducted into the USATF Masters Hall of Fame.

W 80-84 - Jan Holmquist - Whirlaway Racing Team / Needham MA) -  
M 45-49 - Mario Vazquez (Hartbeat New Englad / Farminton CT)
M55-59 - Mark Hixson Gr.Springfield Harriers / Simsbury CT)
M85-89 - Ram Satyaprasad (NE 65+ RC / Burlington MA)
Ram was also named the Paul Spangler Award winner for the oldest divison ROY.
