Road Race Grand Prix concludes at Lone Gull 10K

The 2024 USATF-NE Road Race Grand Prix series concluded Sunday at the popular Lone Gull 10K in Gloucester MA. 12 hours before registration opened, the parking lot was under water due to a high tide and a day of rain, but only a few puddles remained on race day and conditions were favorable for fast racing.  
Megan Hasz (B.A.A.) took advantage of the helpful breeze on the return route and established a new course record of 33:34, close to a minute ahead of Anna Oeser (Battle Road TC). Men's winner Aaron Gruen (Rhode Island TC) pushed out a large gap in the final miles to win by 29 seconds in 30:06.
