Hasz-Sailor Third at USA Marathon Championship

Megan (Hasz) Sailor (Boston Athletic Association) made a statement in her debut race at the marathon distance, placing third at the Cal International Marathon in Sacramento, the 2025 USATF National Championship event, on Sunday.

The past USATF-NE champion in several events stepped up to the classic distance and ran 2;25.16 to earn the National bronze medal, one place behind  Sara Hall who is the fifth fastest US women's marathoner ever. .  Sailor's mark is also among the top 25 ever US women's times for the distance (source: World Athletics lists).
