The USATF New England Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship meet is scheduled for Sunday, November 14 at Mine Falls Park in Nashua NH.  This year, the courses will run from Nashua South High School.

◦ 10:00am: 8 & under Boys

◦ 10:30am: 8 & under Girls
◦ 11:00am: 9-10yr Boys
◦ 11:30am: 9-10yr Girls
◦ 12:00pm: 11-12yr Boys
◦ 12:30pm: 11-12yr Girls
◦ 1:00pm: 13-14yr Boys
◦ 1:30pm: 13-14yr Girls
◦ 2:00pm: 15-18yr Boys (Separate Individual awards for 15-16yr & 17-18yr)
◦ 2:30pm: 15-18yr Girls (Separate Individual awards for 15-16yr & 17-18yr)

*** Local and state Covid regulations may require changes in meet format or schedule.

AGE DIVISIONS / RACE DISTANCES 
Born 2013-+       2000 meters * Note 1 and 1A below
Born 2011-2012  3000 meters
Born 2009-2010  3000 meters
Born 2007-2008  4000 meters
Born 2005-2006  5000 meters **  
Born 2003-2004  5000 meters ** Note 2 below

Note 1: While there is no minimum age, all runners must run unassisted and must be able to finish in the time before the next race on the schedule.
A runner MUST be born in 2012 or 2013 (age 7 or 8) to run in the National Championship.  
Note 1A: The Age 8 & under race may run as a combined girls and boys race.
Note 2: The oldest two age groups (15-16, 17-18) will run together in boys and girls races. Individuals in those races are scored in 2 year age divisions, but teams are scored in a combined 4 year age group.
COURSE MAPS 

ELIGIBILITY
Entry in the New England meet is open to youth of all abilities.
Age divisions are by year of birth (born 2003 through 2015). 
All entrants must have a 2021 or 2022 USATF membership; 2022 membership is available starting November 1.
Birthdate must be verified through online upload of documents to the USATF National office (not sent to the New England office).
Clubs must be a current (2021 or 2022) USATF member clubs and the administrator and coach must be SafeSport compliant.

ENTRY PROCESS

Event entry is entirely online and will use athletic.net  
There is no mail-in entry process.

Clubs and unattached individuals must set up an account on athletic.net to enter the meet.  There are simple instructions at the above link.
All club entrants must have their individual USATF membership affiliation with the club. 

Entry deadline is Wednesday, November 10, at 11:59 p.m.
There will be no late entry period and no day of the event entry.
 
Region 1 Meet

Sunday, November 21, Attleboro MA
The Region 1 meet will be held for the first time on the Mark Coogan Course at Highland Park. 
The course's rolling hills are similar to this year's  Junior Olympics Nationals course

Additional Regional and National Information 
The meet is OPEN ENTRY - that is, open to all entrants.
There no advancement from association meets to the Region 1 meet.
This is similar to the National Championship which is also Open Entry,
The Region 1 Meet does NOT qualify for Nationals, which is open entry.

National
USATF has announced the National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship Meet on December 11 in Paris, Kentucky (same site as last year) will be "direct entry" with no advancement requirements similar to 2020.
