IMPORTANT REGIONAL AND NATIONAL MEET NEWS
On September 17, USATF announced the National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship Meet on December 11 in Paris, Kentucky (same site as last year) will be "direct entry" with no advancement requirements similar to 2020. While Regional meets are still allowed, they will not be utilized as National qualifier events.
There will be no Region 1 meet!
All entrants will be eligible to run at the National event.
This decision was made as a large number of associations are still unable to host an association meet, regional meet, or both.
Given the "direct entry", there will not be a Region 1 meet.
For an additional competition, the New England association will host a Youth Invitational on November 21 and open to all youth from any Region 1 association.
