2025 USATF New England Cross Country Championship

SCHEDULE
10:30 a.m.  Masters Men 8 km 
11:30 a.m.  Open Women and Masters Women 6 km 
12:15 p.m.  Open Men's 8 km  

ENTRY  
Members of all USATF associations are invited to participate.
The on-time fee is $25 per entrant

USATF membership 2025 or 2026 (available after November 1) is required except for current college student athletes (NCAA XC team, NCAA redshirt, NIRCA club teams).  ** If you don't need a membership prior to November 1, join after that date and membershiop will be good for all of 2026.

Entry deadline Thursday, November 13, 11:59 p.m.
No day of race entry.

COURSE
Due to construction projects, there are new courses in 2025.
This map (5km) has a
- large loop (Yellow / Orange, 0 to 1.75 miles) and a
- small loop (Blue, 1.75 mi to finish).
Women's 6km is two large loops
Men's 8km is two large loops followed by one small loop which finishes with a lap around Playstead Field.
There is approximately 150 meters of asphalt pavement on each large loop.  This extends from leaving Playstead Field to the turn to Bear Cage Hill.
Only the shortest spikes are recommended.   

MASTERS COMPETITION
All runners age 40+ will wear back bib identifiers to indicate their masters age divsion category (40+).  Back numbers will be distributed at the registration table.

TEAM SCORING
Men
Open, Age 40+, and Age 50+ teams score 5 runners with 2 displacers
Age 60+ and older age group teams score 3 runners with 2 displacers
Women
Open Teams score 5 runners with 2 displacers
Age 40+ and older age group teams score 3 runners with 2 displacers

Limited to USATF New England clubs

Open M/W -  $300 / $200 / $150 / $100
40+  -   Men - $200 / $150 / $125  Women - $120 / $90 / $75
50+  -   Men - $150 / $100            Women - $90 / $60
M/W 60+  - $75
M/W 70+  - $75
** Masters money differential in the women's age 40+ / 50+  is proportional to 5 men scoring and 3 women scoring per team

USATF Team Travel Stipend
Once again, the winning USATF-NE men's and women's Open teams each earn a $400 travel stipend from USATF for travel to compete at the USATF National Club Cross Country Championships January 11 2026.  Only the winning team is eligible, and the club must attend the meet with a team (not individuals) to receive the stipend.  The funds reimbursement form will be sent to winning teams.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
Limited to USATF New England members
USATF-NE Championship medals to the top 3 finishers in open and in masters 10 year age groups
