2025 USATF-NE Winter Indoor Youth Meets In Providence RI Sunday afternoons - FEBRUARY 16 - Youth Meet, 3:30 p.m. RESULTS - January 26 - Relay Carnival, 4:30 p.m. RESULTS Location: Providence Career and Technical Academy, 91 Fricker St, Providence RI 02903 (next to Providence Classical High School, 770 Westminster St) Registration for both meets is at athletic.net Eligibility Age 6 through age 15 l based on USATF birth year age. (Age on Dec 31 of the competition year - 2025.) Current 2025 USATF membership required - Renew now! 2025 USATF Membership and renewal Information MEET DETAILS Sunday, February 16, USATF-NE Youth / HS meet , 3:30 p.m. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.- Please do not arrive any earlier as there is another meet prior to the youth meet Track Events - 3:30 p.m. 1 Mile Race Walk 1 Mile Run 55m Hurdles - ages 11+ only 55m Dash - Starting blocks for ages 15-18 ONLY 1000m 300m - No starting blocks for any age group Field Events 4:00 p.m. Long Jump - Three attempts for all competitors Shot Put - Four attempts for all competitors High Jump January 26 - Relay Carnival, 4:30 p.m. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.- Events will run in order, not on a time schedule Track events - Order of event 4 x 800m 4 x 200m 1600m Sprint Medley (200-200-400-800) 4 x 400m 4 x 55m Shuttle dash Field events - 3 competitors score by total distance. Shot Put Long Jump High Jump Competition - 1/4" pyramid spikes only - Events will be seeded and contested based on submitted performances. - Heats in running events are based on age. All races are finals (no trials). - Age divisions and boys/girls may be combined in both running and field events. COVID protocols As of January, 2025, there are no special state or facility COVID protocols. This may change at short notice if restrictions are implemented.
