2025 USATF-NE Winter Indoor Youth Meets In Providence RI Sunday afternoons - January 26 - Relay Carnival, 4:30 p.m. - February 16 - Youth Meet, 3:30 p.m. Location: Providence Career and Technical Academy, 91 Fricker St, Providence RI 02903 (next to Providence Classical High School, 770 Westminster St) Registration is at athletic.net Eligibility Age 6 through high school based on USATF birth year age. (Age on Dec 31 of the competition year - 2025.) Current 2025 USATF membership required - Renew now! 2025 USATF Membership and renewal Information MEET DETAILS January 26 - Relay Carnival, 4:30 p.m. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.- Please do not arrive any earlier as there is another meet prior to the youth meet Events will run in order, not on a time schedule Track events 60m Shuttle dash, 4 x 200m 4x400m 4x800m Sprint Medley Field events - 3 competitors score, total distance. Shot Put Weight (age 13+ only) Long Jump High Jump Sunday, February 16, USATF-NE Youth / HS meet , 3:30 p.m. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.- Please do not arrive any earlier as there is another meet prior to the youth meet Track Events - 3:30 p.m. 60m Hurdles - ages 11+ only 1 Mile 60m Dash - Starting blocks for ages 15-18 ONLY 1000m 300m - No starting blocks for any age group Field Events 4:00 p.m. Long Jump Shot Put HighJump - Three attempts for all competitors in the long jump - Four attempts in the shot put. Competition - 1/4" pyramid spikes only - Events will be seeded and contested based on submitted performances. - Heats in running events are based on age. All races are finals (no trials). - Age divisions and boys/girls may be combined in both running and field events. COVID protocols As of January, 2025, there are no special state or facility COVID protocols. This may change at short notice if restrictions are implemented.
