Boston-North Takes Indoor TF Team Titles

The USATF-NE Indoor Track & Field Championships returned to Harvard University's Gordon Track on Sunday, February 17 with over 500 participating club and school athletes taking advantage of the newly resurfaced and reconfigured facility.

One meet record was tied, as Cimmi Virdi (New England PV) matched her own mark of 4.05m/13'3.5" in the pole vault.  Molly Gribbin (Unattached/VT) won both the long jump 19'2.5") and Triple jump (42'6") with national level distances.  Billy Looney led three men under 1:52 in the 800 - all finishing within .4 seconds.
Many quality performances changed the standings in the 2019 Points Chase, which has one more weekend of marks before final standings are announced.

Boston North won both the women's and men's team titles, ahead of Metropolis on the women's side (18 scoring clubs) and ahead of Tracksmith in the men's standings (16 scoring clubs).
