New Board members elected at USATF-NE Annual Meeting
Dave Teszler (Heartbreak Hill Striders) elected President

Seven individuals were newly elected to join a number of incumbents on the USATF New England Board of Governors at the USATF-NE Annual Meeting held on Sunday. Sixty members representing 25 clubs participated in the meeting through a Zoom call.
Dave Teszler
(Heartbreak Hill Striders) was elected as President of the association to succeed Chris Pasko. Teszler served a term as Youth Athletics Chair prior to the election. He will be joined by three Vice-Presidents - Maggie Fox (Gr.Boston TC) who returns for a second term, Tommy Mazza (Gr.Boston TC) who had served as an Athlete Rep, and new board member
Matt Castriotta
(unattached). Dave Lapierre (Central Mass Striders) and Stephen Peckiconis (Cambridge Sports Union) return as treasurer and secretary, respectively. All officer positions serve for two years.
Three new sports chairs will join the board for 1 year terms.
Alex Predhome
(Tracksmith) and
Jeff Rockwood
(Boston-North TC) will now head Men's Long Distance Running and Open Track & Field, with
Peter Crapsey
(New England Elite) elected as new Youth Athletics Chair.
Continuing in sport chair positions are Paul Kirsch (acidotic Racing / Mountain-Ultra-Trail Running), Justin Kuo (NE Walkers / Race Walking), Mike Travers (unattached / Masters Track & Field), Stephen Viegas (NE 65+ RC / Masters LDR), Chris Wargo (HFC Striders / Cross Country), and Amanda Watters (B.A.A. / Women's LDR).
Three new Athletes Representatives will serve one year terms -
Ben Bosworth
(Western MA Distance Project),
Tim Morse
(Twilight Throwers), and
Amanda Pasko
(Boston-North TC).
The board generally meets monthly on the first non-holiday Monday.
