USATF-NE Covid-19 resources and events status

UPDATED 6/2/2020
With health regulations and retrictions affecting all aspect of our sport, and changing on a daily basis, you can follow USATF and USATF New England statements, policies, and schedule issues relating to Covid-19 here.
The USATF Covid-19 News link is updated every day or two, and covers information for athletes, coaches, and event directors (particularly on event cancellations and postponements).

STATUS OF USATF-NEW ENGLAND, NATIONAL, AND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The following 2020 Championships have either been canceled or postponed:
 
6/1 - The 2020 USATF-NE Road Running Grand Prix IS CANCELLED
With three USATF-NE Championships cancelled, two uncertain, and the marathon date moved forcing delay to 2021, the USATF-NE Grand Prix is cancelled for 2020.
The New Bedford Half Marathon, Frank Nealon Boston Tune-Up 15K. and the BIGGSteps 5K are cancelled, 
The Vermont City Marathon (VCM) orginally scheduled for May 24 is now October 25; The race will not be the USATF-NE Championship
The status of the Allen Melo NH 10 Miler, and Lone Gull 10K are uncertain. 
Races not held as championships in 2020 will be automatically put into the 2021 Series
Youth
The 2020 USATF Junior Olympic program (New England, Region 1, and National championship) is canceled.  USATF Youth Athletics Nationals (June 23-20) is cancelled. 
 
Distance Running
5/1 - All Terrain Runner Series - Cancelled due to event cancellations and uncertainty
 
Major road events
B.A.A. Boston Marathon is CANCELLED FOR 2020
B.A.A. 10K, Boston MA (originally scheduled for June 28) is postponed to November 22

Mountain/Trail
USATF-NE Trail Championshp - Merrimack River Race, Andover MA (originally scheduled for April 11) postponed, is now October 4
 
Mountain Circuit  
Sleepy Holly Race, Huntington VT (originally April 26) now set for November 15
Pack Monadnock, Wilton NH (originally May 3) now set for August 16
Mt.Wachusett, Westminster MA (originally May 23) cancelled
Ascutney Mt, VT  - Postponed to September
Loon Mountain Race - cancelled
Mt Cranmore Race, Conway NH - (originally June 7) now set for October 25
 
Track & Field
The USATF-NE Open Championship meet status is unlikely.  The usually venue is not available this summer.  If faciities are available, there is a possibility of an August meet with limited events spread out over several venues 
USATF-NE/East Region Masters (June 27) is cancelled
Battle Road Twilight Series  (May/June) is cancelled
Bay State Games is cancelled
Twilight Throwers series postponed until facility opens
USATF Masters National Track & Field Championships canceled
Bay State Games cancelled
World Events
U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Track & Field have been postponed to June 2021.
World Masters Outdoor Championship (July 20-August 1; Toronto, Canada) is postponed to 2021 and moved to Finland.

The following USATF-NE Championships have been rescheduled or cancelled:
Half Marathon - New Bedford (orginally scheduled for March 15) is canceleld
15 km - Frank Nealon Boston Tune-Up, Upton MA (originally scheduled for April 5) postponed, likely dat in August
-->5 km has moved to a virtual race, and is no longer a championship.
Marathon - Vermont City Marathon (VCM) orginally scheduled for May 24 is now October 25; The race will not be the USATF-NE Championship
Races not held as championships in 2020 will be automatically put into the 2021 Series
