Meiler, Larson win USATF honors

Flo Meiler (Sprinticity / Burlington VT) and Nat Larson (Greater Springfield Harriers / Amherst MA) were named USATF Masters athletes of the year in several categories at the USATF Annual Meeting held December 1-4 in Orlando, Florida.

A perennial champion at USA Masters Championships, Meiler was presented the Masters Track & Field Ahlete of the Year award durign the USATF Night of Legends program.

Larsen, who has won the runner of the year award in multiple age divisions over many years, kept rolling after turning 60 years old in 2022, setting a new M60 5000 meter record on the track, and Road 1 Mile and 5km records on the road, the latter set at the New England championship race on November 13.
