Perform:24 - Olympic Athlete Q&A
Questions, answers, and discussion with past Olympians
The USATF-NE Perform:24 series continues on
Tuesday, July 12
at 7:00 p.m. with an
"Olympic and World Championship Athlete Q&A"
. This webinar will feature two past Olympic and World Championship athletes.
Sean Furey,
OLY, represented the US in the javelin throw at the 2012 London and 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, and at two World Championship competitions. Sean attended Methuen (MA) High School and is a 2004 graduate of Dartmouth College. He currently lives in Rhode Island, is a mechanical engineer, and oversees "Field and Track Club"
Funmi Jimoh
, OLY, represented the USA in the long jump at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, as well as on three other World Championship Teams. A 2007 graduate of Rice University in Texas, she currently owns a medical legal business.
Athletes will answer questions on their path in sports, training and recovering, overcoming setbacks, competitioni at the Olympics and World Championships levels, pursuits outside of their sport, and more.
Questions can be submitted at the time of registration or during the webinar.
