USATF-NE Cross Country Grand Prix off and running

The 2021 USATF-NE Cross Country Grand Prix began its five race series at the Greater Boston TC Invitational at Great Brook Farm in Carlisle MA on Sunday.
Four races - a youth 2km, women's 5km, open men's 5km, and masters men's 5km - filled the morning with action on specator friendly multiple-loop courses in the state park. Open race winners were Western Mass Distance Project teammates Yvonne Bungei and Ben Bosworth, with HFC Striders women and WMDP men topping the open team scoring. The GBTC Invitational results includes all age division scoring.

The GP Series continues at the Brown Bear Invitational at Highland Park in Attleboro MA on Saturday, September 25.
