Youth Compete in Association Junior Olympic Championships

Over 800 youth from age 6 to 18 in 6 age divisions contested a full schedule of events at the New England association Junior Olympic Championship meet held at Fitchburg State University on June 12 and 13.  Weather conditions were better than forcasted, contributing to many personal bests and 27 new meet records.

The top 8 finishers in each event qualified for the Region 1 Championship meet to be hosted by the New England association June 25-28 at Gordon College.  The Region 1 meet in turn qualifies 5 in each event for the National Chamionships July 27-August 2 in Norwalk California.
