Series rules
Scoring: ATR Series standings are based on the sum of “Percentile Points” achieved in a participant’s top four races.
- Percentile Points for the road, mountain, trail and cross country races are calculated for each race like a standardized test:
( (Total Finishers - Place + 1) / Total Finishers ) x 100.
Example of the Scoring System:
   A runner finishing 1st of 200 finishers receives 100.0 points calculated as follows: ( (200 - 1 + 1) / 200) x 100 = 100.0 points.
  A runner finishing 150th of 200 finishers receives 25.5 points calculated as follows ( (200- 150 + 1) / 200) x 100 = 25.5 points

All finishers in a given race regardless of USATF membership status count in determination of the percentile point calculation.
Percentile Points calculations will be carried to one decimal point for each race. In the case of a tie, the tie will be broken by the participants’ top single Percentile Point race score.

-  Scoring for the Track race (all ages) will utilize the Masters Athletics age grading points found at mastersathletics.net

Eligibility: There is no fee to enter the series.  Participants must have current (2023) USATF membership prior to their second series event, and enter their intent to participate in the ATR Series online no later than June 1.
