Cross Country Grand Prix closes up

The final race in the USATF-NE Cross Country Grand Prix was held Saturday at Rachel's Run on the Academy of Notre Dame campus in Tyngsborough MA.  With end-of-series standings still unsettled prior to the meet, there was strong race day competition.  

GBTC pulled the Individual double with teammates Erica Long and Joe Smith winning outright, and HFC Striders answered with Individual Master's twin victors, Christina Campbell and TJ Unger.  Great depth allowed Battle Road Track Club to sweep the Open Team categories, while in the masters women's divison, a tie score between Liberty AC and Western Mass Distance Project was broken by Liberty's better third and final scorer.  8 clubs fielded multiple teams over the 8 race divisions.  Many thanks to our gracious hosts, the Morrison Family and the Greater Lowell Road Runners.
