Tracksmith, B.A.A. take team titles at USATF-NE 10 mile

Comfortable summer weather at the Allen Mello 10 Miler

Tracksmith and the B.A.A. took the open team titles in the Allen Mello 10 mile, second stop in the 2021 USATF-NE Grand Prix.  A cool day with low humidity and a light breeze removed the weather challenge on the course known for its hills.
Louis Serafini returned to the victory stand (he won in 2019) and his time of 51:06 helped Tracksmith to a victory by 1:42 over the B.A.A..  The two teams swapped positions in the women's race, with overall winner Rachel Hyland fronting the B.A.A. scoring quintet in 58:41.
First masters were B.A.A. runners Alex Taylor (13th overall) and Erin McVeigh (14th).

1001 participants crossed the finish line, with a dozen men's clubs and 8 women's clubs fielding scoring open teams. Full results at MillenniumRunning
