USATF New England holds Association championships for all distance running disciplines. There are seven USATF-NE masters road race championships, all tied into a Grand Prix with scoring in 5 year age divisions starting with age 40-44. There is a full slate of Nationals at sites distributed around the country, with several usually within driving distance of New England. * The 2026 USATF National Masters 10km Road Race Championship is the James Joyce Ramble in Dedham MA on April 26. The Ramble has been the USA Masters 10km Championship for 12 years and draws a high quality field from around the country. Results are in 5 year age divisions from 40-44 through 90+. Team scoring totals the best times of 3 runners from a 3,4, or 5 runner declared team. Clubs can enter multiple teams. Individual scoring for masters in championships may be by age group placing or by Age-Graded scoring. Team scoring is included in all masters LDR competitions. Association team scoring size is 3 to 5 runners depending on age group and race distance. Team size for National road championships is five declared runners with top three to score by total time. Cross country scoring differs by age group; M40+ and M50+ declare up to 9 and score 5, men 60+ teams and all women's teams declare 5 and score 3.
